Dr. Amy Wilson

Dr. Amy Lee Wilson came to Trinidad in 1993. She was attracted to the mountains and loves the area for the beautiful weather and scenery. Having grown up in the more flat state of Oklahoma, she appreciates the mountains and clear blue skies.

She became interested in dentistry in high school and pursued her interest through college and graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry in 1993 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Since then she has pursued her interest in aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics, Head/Neck and Facial Pain as well as Dental Sleep Medicine. She is a member of many dental groups including the American Dental Association®, Colorado Dental Association, International Association for Orthodontics, and Academy of General Dentistry.

After a bout with cancer as well as covid, Dr. Wilson became passionate about Functional Medicine. Since then she has completed her Certification in Functional Medicine and offers those comprehensive services to her patients in the sister business that she created, New Image Health and Wellness. In addition, she has been providing facial aesthetic services for over 20 years and houses those treatments at New Image Health and Wellness as well.

Dr. Amy is an accomplished pianist and enjoys playing for local singing groups. She has given several concerts over the years and even performed Beethoven's Chorale Fantasy with part of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. Recently she formed a praise and worship band called Praise Collective that offers concerts throughout the year.

She has her private pilot's license since 2005 and keeps her plane hangered in Raton, NM. She is married to Mart and they have a Mini Aussie named Lacey. The three of them enjoy flying and visiting family.
